Apple manages Read & Explain subscriptions. You can turn off renewal from the app or your device's Settings.
Open your subscription
In Read & Explain, open Settings → Manage subscription. Or open Apple's Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Read & Explain.
Cancel through Apple
Choose Cancel Subscription or the trial cancellation option, then follow Apple's confirmation. If there is no cancel button and an expiration message is shown, Apple says the subscription is already canceled.
Check the end date
Review the date and access details shown by Apple. If you do not want a free trial to renew, Apple advises canceling at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
Your saved readings stay available
When the subscription entitlement ends, membership features stop. Readings saved on the device and built-in listening remain available.
Deleting the app is not cancellation
Cancel through Apple to stop renewal. Deleting the app can remove your local readings. A refund request is a separate process from cancellation.
